Amanda got her improv start during college at Texas A&M University. During orientation, she approached the booth of a group called Freudian Slip thinking it was a psychology club. Instead, she was told auditions for their improv comedy troupe were that night, which sounded like more fun than talking about psychology. So she went, made the team, and became addicted to improv on the spot. She is a graduate of Dallas Comedy House Training center and has taken workshops at iO, The Hideout Theater, and right here at DCH. Out loud she says she dreams of becoming a professor, but secretly, she dreams of bumping into Tina Fey at an airport and becoming her best friend and writing partner. You can see Amanda perform with Dairy Based and Quirk.
