June Standup Showcase w/Brad LaCour

A 5-year veteran of the Dallas comedy scene, Brad LaCour was a finalist in the 2010 Funniest Comic in Texas competition, and a semi-finalist in 2009 and 2011. He’s opened for Doug Stanhope, Josh Blue and Neil Hamburger, and performed at every club in the metroplex on shows such as “Kinda Blue” at the Addison Improv and “Vulgar Display of Comedy” at both Hyena’s in both Dallas and Fort Worth.

LaCour is fresh off appearances at the Texas Travesty’s 21st Street Co-op Counter Comedy Show in Austin and the 2012 Dallas Comedy Festival, where Amy Martin from the Theater Jones described him as having “a sly, underhanded delivery that effortlessly slipped deep into taboo territory… an act that rests solidly on its material, not affectations, to stand out, and that distinction will take him places”.

LaCour has also been known to take his comedy beyond the stage, as a former contributing writer for Blitz Weekly and a frequent guest of the Pugs and Company on 1190AM and the Richard Hunter Show.
