Interns are crucial to helping the Dallas Comedy House run smoothly and are a big part of our DCH community. From working our Box Office and seating patrons, to helping spread the word about DCH as a street team or blogging intern – they make our operation possible.
We are currently accepting intern application for 2017. If you are interested in applying to be an intern, you learn more and apply by clicking this link.
Unsure what the internship program looks like? Check out this blog post by former intern, Danny Neely and read all about it!

At the Dallas Comedy House, we want our students to see themselves reflected in our performers and faculty. We continue to strive to cultivate a student body that is reflective of the diversity the Dallas community has to offer. In the 2016 calendar year, 55% of our performers were male and 45% were female – a statistic we are proud of. 80% of our performer roster were white and 20% were people of color: an area we hope to continue to expand in the upcoming years. In an effort to continue to diversify, Dallas Comedy House Training Center now offers a scholarship program to foster the learning of members that will increase diversity in the following areas:
• race and ethnicity
• sexual orientation
• gender identification
• people over 40
• individuals with disabilities
• U.S. military service members or veterans
